2. Data Collection on Our Website
Referral Verification Data: If you choose to log in using your Hyperliquid wallet address or Bybit UID, we process and store this identifier to verify your referral status and grant access to the restricted features of HyperInsider. For Hyperliquid, the wallet address may be checked against publicly available/on-chain referral information. For Bybit, the numeric Bybit UID is checked through the Bybit Affiliate API to confirm whether the UID belongs to our referral list. We do not ask for, store, or need your Bybit password, API keys, exchange balances, private keys, seed phrases, or trading permissions.
Legal basis: Referral verification and account access are processed for the performance of our service contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Security, abuse prevention, service reliability, and fraud prevention may also be processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Telegram Data: If you link your Telegram account to receive alerts, we store your Telegram User ID, username where available, linked wallet or referral identifier, alert preferences, and technical timestamps. This is used exclusively to provide the requested Telegram alerts and digests.
Authentication and Local Storage: After successful verification, an authentication token is stored in your browser local storage so you remain logged in. You can remove it by logging out or clearing your browser storage.
Server Log Files: The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically, such as browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name or IP address, request time, and technical request metadata. This data is used for security, troubleshooting, and operation of the website.
3. Recipients and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We may use infrastructure, hosting, Telegram, Hyperliquid, Bybit, and technical service providers where necessary to operate HyperInsider, verify referral status, provide alerts, prevent abuse, and maintain security. These providers may act as processors or independent controllers depending on the service and their own terms.
When checking a Bybit UID, the UID is sent to Bybit via the Bybit Affiliate API solely for referral verification. Bybit may process this data according to its own privacy policy and terms.
4. Retention
Referral identifiers, linked Telegram data, and access records are stored only as long as needed to provide access, operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve support requests, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account/access data at any time.
5. Your Rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your stored data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
